I had 2 laps and 1 laparotomy before they finally diagonosed endo. Since then I have had 8 further ops, including a hysterectomy (ovaries retained) as I had adenomyosis and a cyst removed within 18m of the hyst.

I was diagnosed with residual ovary syndrome in April 07 & finally had my ovaries removed Feb 08. Thankfully the pain pre op & fatigue has gone (so far touch wood) so all things being well I've only the menopause to deal with now which so far hasnt been bad, the odd hot moment and I still need to decide HRT or not but that is a minefield in itself.

I'm currently working as a PA but finding it all a bit dull so on the look out for new opportunities.

Running (when pain doesnt get in the way) I completed my first Great North Run (1/2 marathon) in 2007 and managed to raise over £400 and with the help of my parents & their friends hosting a rock n roll night to boost the amount to over £700.

Motorcycling - my avatar is me on my first track day it was one of the most amazing experiences and cant wait to do more.

Sport I love watching motorbike racing, F1, rugby, footie, cricket - just about anything and sometimes theres the added benefit of a sneaky beer mid day.

Scuba diving although the tropics have spoilt it for the UK diving which we are finding far too cold and not quite so many fish.
